Garth Hendricks was born and raised in Manchester Jamaica. From an early age he was surrounded by influences in Art and Music. As a young boy Garth spent many spellbound hours listening to the radio, jukebox and the neighborhood elders who would regale each other with tales of the music they loved and how it shaped their lives. This was the beginning of Garth’s love affair with Art and Music.

Paul Campbell

CEO of Song Embassy

Sunday Scoops to the "Song Embassy'' is a depository of the Jamaica culture and music. We find YaawdMedia's Sunday Scoops a necessary reservoir of our culture and music where we can use the material from the site to do our research for our ongoing projects.

Beautiful Nature

Cynthia Cooke

Past Principal of Camperdown High

Relaxing, informative and entertaining. These words are what hit me when I think of Sunday Scoops. Misty water kind of memories for us old folks and needed information for the young, correcting some misguided facts and beliefs about Jamaican music. "Hit me with music...Long long long long time  we no have such nice time."

Cardiologist

I am thoroughly schooled on Jamaican music on Sunday Scoop! This is a comprehensive and indepth look at Jamaican music over the last 70 years. The program is very unique in that it also tracks the history of the country over the same period, it should be an integral part of our tourist product available in all the sectors including hotel media, informing guests about the music.  It's one of the few things I'm eager and anxious to participate in, wherever I am in the world.  A truly classy program.
